Services & Solutions
Web Based Solutions
- Simple and complex systems designed and developed specifically to operate on and use the facilities provided by Intranets and the Internet in secure and non-secure environments. Our services include full implementation of and training on all systems that we build.
- Creative Internet “Front Ends” to corporate and government legacy data systems of all sizes. These front ends make previously “closed circuit” commercial and government systems available to all authorized users worldwide while locking out all unauthorized access.
- Design, develop and implement web front ends for existing databases embedded in other data systems.
- Creative and innovative new web sites.
Systems Integration
- Design, develop and implement software bridges between existing systems whether or not those systems are written in the same software language or are operating on the same or similar hardware platforms and networks.
- Design, develop and implement web services to link disparate systems through the tools and facilities available on private, commercial and/or government Intranets and the worldwide Internet.
Modeling and Simulation
- Design, development and implementation of algorithms that use historic and current data to compute and project the likelihood of future markets and or actions.
- Design, development and implementation of automated tools to evaluate a variety of scenarios in commercial, government and military situations based on the fixed and variable inputs. The resulting evaluations can be used as multi-level decision tools and to prepare proper support resources for projects and operations.
Metrics
- Using automated tools to identify and track key productivity indicators for continuous process improvements.
- Using automated scans to record processing times and flows to identify operational bottlenecks in computer systems and process flows.
Cross System Reporting Tools
- Creating services that collect, normalize and report in tabular and graphical forms from disparate data residing in existing legacy and web based systems.
Selected Client System Summaries
IDEAMATICS, Inc. has broad and deep experience in global force management and sourcing,
as well as total asset visibility and mobilization processing. This experience dates
back before 1982 when IDEAMATICS developed the first mobilization notification system
for the Department of Defense that utilized Western Union Mailgrams. In 1994 we
designed, developed and implemented the Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System
(MCMPS) for the USMC. It is a workflow system that integrates requirement and sourcing
processes, allowing automated re-tasking as tasked steps are completed. Ultimately,
in tandem with innovations in technology, we modernized the system to be one of
the essential web-based tools in the USMC inventory.
Capitalizing on our knowledge of requirements processing and force sourcing and
our USMC portfolio, IDEAMATICS, was selected to partner with Microsoft in 2002,
to adapt the MCMPS to serve the rapidly developing needs of the U.S. Navy. Since
we’d already used Microsoft’s commercially available development tools and advanced
workflow approach for our USMC work, we were able to quickly fast-track a web-based
version of the Navy-Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS) that satisfied
the Navy’s emerging requirements. Today, NMCMPS is the Navy’s singular web-based
solution which streamlines the processing of active duty augmentees and the mobilization
of reserve forces, captures active duty and reserve data in a single system, and
provides stakeholders with end-to-end visibility throughout the process.
From the outset NMCMPS has been bi-furcated, operating in both the military’s secure
(SIPRNET) and non-secure (NIPRNET) environments, as appropriate to the business
rules of the functions being performed. NMCMPS functionality is being accessed worldwide
based on complex role based access. In addition when business rules dictate, the
USMC’s requirement and asset information is automatically passed to the USN’s NMCMPS
system through a web service.
As the Navy’s role in support of the Global War on Terror has expanded and become
more complex, it’s requirements for more NMCMPS functionality have and continue
to evolve and expand. Because we work with the Navy’s key functional experts on
a daily basis, our development team has been able to keep pace with the emerging
requirements and mission changes by deploying new versions of the system every three
months.
The United States Coast Guard also recognized IDEAMATICS’ expertise and selected
us design, develop and implement its Mobilization Readiness Tracking Tool (MRTT)
and Contingency Personnel Management System (CPMS). The USCG chose us because of
our knowledge, ability to develop flexible web-based software skills and proven
client interaction and responsiveness. Integral to MRTT/CPMS is the mission requirements
planning or Contingency Personnel Requirements List (CPRL) feature, which provides
readiness data and “sailing lists” from the moment a mission alert is issued to
the point where the mission response group departs. Every step along the way is
visible to commanders and staff with access defined by their pre-designated roles.
MRTT’s asset visibility encompasses Active Duty, Reserve, Government Civilian, and
Contractor personnel. In addition, to maximize planning and visibility, the system
generates essential management reports.
IDEAMATICS, Inc. global visibility requirements and sourcing experience, as well
as our appreciation for the likely obstacles developing and implementing a Force
Provider Global Sourcing Collaborative Workflow Staffing Capability stem from our
work for Joint Forces Command (JFCOM J33) Force Planning and Sourcing Action Officers.
Based on the data elements identified in the FMIP Global Visibility document, we
conducted a study to identify the authoritative data systems for asset and readiness
data for each of the Services. We learned firsthand the reticence of the Services
to share data that they deemed proprietary with no desire to share with JFCOM. Despite
the lack of Service component cooperation, IDEAMATICS was able to design, develop
and deliver a working software prototype of the Joint Mobilization Processing System
(JMPS), an asset integration and sourcing visibility and workflow system.
