Company Overview
IDEAMATICS, Inc., is a small business firm that was established by Dr. David L.
Danner in 1975 to apply engineering precepts and techniques to the arena of information
systems and computer science. IDEAMATICS has demonstrated expertise in management
information systems design and implementation, statistical analysis, and modeling/simulation
as well as productivity methods evaluation through systems improvement. IDEAMATICS
is a leader in the rapid deployment of web-based solutions for the Department of
Defense. Recent projects completed for the U.S. Navy (USN) and the U.S. Marine Corps
(USMC) include systems efforts which focus on the management of manpower assets
and the planning for mobilization of the total force.
IDEAMATICS has performed efforts for many associations, the Federal government and
the private sector. Clientele include the USN, USMC, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
the U.S. Coast Guard, General Telephone and Electronics, Inc., Stanford Research
Institute, Consolidated Rail Corporation, the American Petroleum Institute, the
National Association of Manufacturers, and the U.S. Congress' Office of Technology
Assessment. In the past 28 years IDEAMATICS has completed over three hundred successful
projects.
IDEAMATICS has been an active participant in responding to the needs of the USMC
and USN for the mobilization of individual manpower in support of national contingencies.
As a direct result of experience during the Gulf War, IDEAMATICS developed the Marine
Corps Mobilization Processing System (MCMPS.) In response to the needs of the Navy,
IDEAMATICS teamed with Microsoft Corporation to perform a rapid development of a
system to assist in mobilization/demobilization processing, orders writing and requirements
tracking. The USMC Individual Augmentation Management Module of MCMPS is a leading
DoD example of a "Quick Win" in the deployment of a web-based application to address
emerging manpower management requirements in the Global War on Terrorism.
Other IDEAMATICS' experience in developing engineering software solutions for customers
extends from the conversion of a hurricane simulation model to the creation of a
database for all oil wells drilled in the United States since 1969. IDEAMATICS has
designed and implemented electronic data interchange (EDI) systems for the oil industry,
analyzed anthropomorphic models for the USCG, programmed real-time data entry systems
for the U.S. Navy, developed a distributed network for the entry of bankruptcy data
in courts throughout the US, and developed a microprocessor-based electronic telephone
system for General Telephone and Electronics.
The strength of IDEAMATICS is in the staff - a dedicated group of professionals
who are firmly committed to delivering not only what the client has contracted for,
but also what the client needs to meet their requirement. IDEAMATICS' staff members
pride themselves on a record of on-time, on-budget and user-friendly systems.
